Goals

1) To build a strong coalition in Food and Health for wellness, preventative and therapeutic applications.

2) To conduct research on bioactives and functional ingredients for food and utraceutical use, such as
pre and pro-biotics, antioxidants (grains, spice, marine foods, etc.), supplements (such as calcium)
and nutrition.

3) To provide M.S. and Ph.D. education as well as Post-doctorate training to produce future specialists.

4) To build a strong industrial linkages such as collaborative strategic research alliance and consulation services.
